南湖大山主峰前雲海

(南湖大山) Mt.Nanhu is the one of famous peak in the northen Taiwan. With elevation of 3,742 meters, she is the 5th highest mountain in Taiwan. The topogrophy reveal the history, the glacier did exist here. Located at the Central Mountain Ridge, the longest mountain ridge in Taiwan. On the top of Mt.Nanhu, you can look-out the peaks of Xueshan Range, which the second longest ridge in Taiwan. There is a cabin located in the cirque – Nanhu Cabin, let climbers stay before go summit. Around The Main peak of Mt.Nanhu, climbers usually visiting the others peak around, including Mt.Nanhu E. peak(南湖大山東峰), Mt.Mabishan(馬比杉山), Mt.Nanhu S. peak(南湖大山南峰) Mt.Baba(巴巴山), Mt.Nanhubei(南湖北山),… those peaks are well know “100-peaks” in Taiwan. To visit all of peak around Nanhu will need to take around 4 days. But our trip will not just visit these peak around Nanhu. We went forward to Mt.Zhongyangjian(中央尖山), as known as “Central Range Point”, with elevation 3,705 meters height. It will take 7 days for this trip.
